IRIRC Visited the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC)
The delegation from Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Center, Xiamen University Malaysia (IPIRC) and Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute (IPRI), headed by IPIRC Director, Professor Long Xiaoning and IPRI Dean, Professor Lin Xiuqin, paid a visit to the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) to discuss potential collaboration avenues. Students from Kasetsart University Taste Chinese Culture at XMUM
Xiamen University Malaysia Mobility Programme with Kasetsart University was successfully carried out from 26 February to 18 March 2023.The programme aims to offer students the opportunity to learn about Chinese culture, enriching their knowledge in Southeast Asian Studies. Special courses about Malaysia were also given to expose them to the country's diverse culture.

XMUM Signs MOA with BioLoop Sdn Bhd on Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) Fractionation
With the aim of maximizing the yield and quality of black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) fractions, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with BioLoop Sdn Bhd on 3 January 2023. This collaborative project aims to investigate the yield and quality of BSFL oil and defatted meals to maximize the utilization of BSFL while solving the problems of global food and feed stress as well as waste management.
