The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Chew Zhen Li, Phuang Zhen Xin and Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Vincent Woon Kok Sin from XMUM New Energy and Science Engineering (NESE) programme for publishing a research article in Science of the Total Environment (Q1, IF: 10.753). Chew Zhen Li is a fresh graduate of XMUM, while Phuang Zhen Xin is currently a master’s student under the supervision of Dr. Vincent Woon Kok Sin.

Undergraduate Yeow Teck Ann Receives 2022 POPSIG Student Research Project Bursary
Yeow Teck Ann, a third-year undergraduate in Chemical Engineering Programme, was chosen as one of the three recipients of the 2022 IChemE Palm Oil Processing Special Interest Group (POPSIG) Student Research Project Bursary. Sponsored by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), the bursary is committed to promoting palm oil-related research among undergraduates and postgraduates undertaking 6-month original research related to the palm oil sector.

Chemical Engineering Student Publishes in Journal of Molecular Liquids
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Teh Jia Leang and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rashmi Walvekar from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for the recent article published in the Journal of Molecular Liquid, an SCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 6.633. Teh Jia Leang has graduated from Xiamen University Malaysia with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering earlier this year. He conducted the project under the supervision of Dr. Rashmi Walvekar, the corresponding author of this article.
