Prof. Dr. Haw Choon Yian from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for being awarded the Best Paper Award (Advanced Materials and Surfaces Characterisation) at the 15th International Conference on Materials Processing and Characterization (ICMPC) held at Northumbria University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, United Kingdom from 5 to 9 September 2023.

XMUM Postgraduate Student Awarded WWF EFN Fellowship for Sustainable Food Waste Research
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Chew Zhi Ling, a postgraduate student from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, on receiving the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Education for Nature (EFN) Trudy Fellowship of USD 22,000, for her research in food waste valorization and novel food formulation.This grant will support her postgraduate studies and research for a period of 3 years (July 2023 – June 2026).
