XMUM School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Co-Organizes the 2nd Malaysia Acupuncture Forum
The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM) at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) served as a co-organizer of the 2nd Malaysia Acupuncture Forum, held on 25 May 2025 at the AC Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.The forum was hosted by the Malaysia Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association, and brought together leading experts and scholars to exchange knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

XMUM Students Attend 2nd Malaysia-China TCM Conference 2025
On 27 April 2025, a group of undergraduate students from the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) programme at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) attended the 2nd Malaysia-China TCM Conference, an event aimed at promoting academic exchange and cooperation in the field of TCM between Malaysia and China.
TCM Students Offer Free Consultations at Blood Donation Drive
On 27 April 2025, 14 year-four students from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Programme, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) offered free medical consultations during the Pass the Love On Blood Donation Campaign, engaging with the public by providing constitution analysis, pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, and personalized health consultations.The event was organized by the Seremban Chapter of the International Fo Guang Association Malaysia and held at Arena Seremban.
XMUM and CMH Hospital Launch Cross-Border TCM Internship
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) and CMH Specialist Hospital have launched a cross-border clinical internship to bridge Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western medicine. Lim Sze Yen, a TCM undergraduate of 2020/04 intake, is the first student to complete the program, marking a milestone in interdisciplinary medical education.
External Review Enhances TCM Programme at XMUM
On 3 March 2025, School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), welcomed Dr. Heng Aik Teng and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Te Kian Keong for an external review of the Bachelor of Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Honours) programme. The visit aimed to evaluate curriculum quality, assessment procedures, and alignment with industry standards.
