Biography
Dr Ng Chong Shan is currently a lecturer at the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner with the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
During her doctoral studies, she focused primarily on the application of TCM theories in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, with particular emphasis on challenging conditions such as colorectal polyps and inflammatory bowel disease. She explored the theoretical basis and clinical mechanisms underlying the use of TCM in the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. She has published three related academic papers as the first author.
